Performance Specs
You'll find a peppy 4-cylinder engine on both the Ford Escape and Toyota RAV4: the 1.5L EcoBoost® with auto start-stop paired with the 6-speed automatic transmission on the Escape, and the 2.5L engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission on the RAV4. Both vehicles are also available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive depending on your daily driving needs. The major difference between the Escape and RAV4, however, is towing capacity. The Escape can tow up to 3,500 lbs. while the RAV4 can only tow up to 1,500 lbs.
